“Hey… look she is doing it again…” The other character moved closer behind the writing girl.
“What?! She is making us suffer again… What did we even do to her?”
“I don’t know but… that smile of hers is scary…”
“True… but isn’t this better than when she does other stuff and completely forgets or is too lazy to write about us…”
“That is the worst yes! Thinking about it now… I guess she can do what she wants with us as long as we have a happy end right?”
“I hope you are right this time as well…”

Silhouette in the night (poem) (2008)

The dusky night outside,
is silently calling me.
I’m asking myself why,
aren’t you still beside me.

Thick clouds are covering
the dark, lonely night,
as the moon
is shining brightly.

I can hear the dark, dry leaves
rustle under my feet.
I can feel fresh gust of wind on my shoulders,
leading me to the river bank.

Shines of the moon are trickling,
through the creamy white clouds,
illuminating the silhouette in the dark
on the bridge of a sweet love.

Who is this silhouette,
who looks lonely?
Who is this shadow,
who looks forgotten?

Getting closer, I can see
the tears streaming down its face.
The silhouette becomes clearer,
as the lost husband stands there.

He hugs me silently,
looks at my eyes one last time.
Eyes, full of tears,
disappear from my sight for good.
